Al Pacino makes his long-awaited return to Broadway in a brand-new play especially written for him by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Mamet. A frequent collaborator with Mamet, the two-time Tony-winning Pacino will originate the role of a semi-retired multi-millionaire, who has just bought an airplane for his much-younger fiancee. Just as he is about to leave the office one last time, his assistant (Fran Kranz) patches through a call. What transpires next will test the mettle of any person on the cusp of a life-changing event. The story of a dog who comes between married New York couple Greg and Kate, Sylvia is a warm and witty comedy from A. R. Gurney. 2015 Tony winner Annaleigh Ashford (You Can't Take It With You) stars as the titular character, an anthropomorphised mutt whose unquestioning adoration of her master results in marital strife. Fresh off his stint on Broadway comedy It's Only A Play, two time Tony recipient Matthew Broderick co-stars as Greg. More info

At the grand age of 77, George Takei makes his Broadway debut in this incredible story of resilience, based on his early experiences. After selling out following it's world premiere in San Diego, Allegiance, a powerful musical detailing life for Japanese Americans following Pearl Harbour, comes to New York to enlighten and educate us about this often forgotten chapter in the nation's history. Transferring from Los Angeles, Deaf West's electric staging of this multi-Tony winner has a cast of both hearing and deaf actors. Based on Frank Wederkind's controversial play, this rock musical follows a group of adolescents in 19th Century Weimar Germany raging against the moral codes of the day. Rodgers and Hammerstein's epic returns to Broadway in a new production that captures the essence of this much-treasured piece of musical theatre history. It's story of a widowed governess, who is charged with teaching the severe King of Thailand's myriad royal offspring, and the journey that they both take as they teach each other about their different culture. After making its debut to great acclaim at 2014's Williamstown Theatre Festival, this revival of Sam Shepard's 1983 play transfers to Broadway with Sam Rockwell (The Way Way Back) and Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur) in the lead roles. Roundabout Theatre presents the first ever Broadway revival of Harold Pinter's unsettling play, which will feature Oscar nominee Clive Owen (Closer, Children of Men) in his Broadway debut. The story follows the battle for dominance that develops between a husband and an old friend of his wife.
