Under the guidance of Music Director James Levine, they'll be showcasing an incredibly diverse repertoire featuring Evgeny Kissin tickling the ivories (rather powerfully) in Rachmaninoff's thrilling Piano Concerto No.2, enchanting soprano Renee Fleming performing a programme of Strauss' works and soprano Christine Goerke and tenor Johan Botha in excerpts from Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen.
